Organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this project, launched in 2023, was designed to provide young people with various practical work experience opportunities.
Jin Air participated in the project to offer young people interested in the aviation industry diverse practical experience opportunities, keeping pace with the changing employment environment where recruitment is increasingly focused on irregular and experienced hires.
The three themes presented by Jin Air for this project were ▲Strategies to enhance brand awareness of integrated low-cost carriers (LCC) ▲Ways to revitalize the Jin Air mobile application ▲Research on LCC service trends and proposals for Jin Air services.
The 27 selected youths were divided into seven teams and carried out the project under the guidance of mentors for about six weeks starting from the end of December last year. On the final day of the project, each team gave a final presentation. Industry professionals evaluated the presentations based on creativity, feasibility, and planning skills, resulting in the 'Air Buddy' team being selected as the award-winning team.
Na Ungjae, a member of the Air Buddy team, shared his thoughts on receiving the award, saying, "Through discussions and collaboration with team members under the mentor's guidance, I was able to develop the skills necessary for an actual work environment while completing the tasks."
