The Suwon Southern Fire Station in Gyeonggi conducted a fire safety inspection on buildings affected by jeonse fraud.
In response to the recent increase in buildings left unattended and unmaintained due to jeonse fraud, the Suwon Southern Fire Station announced on the 19th that it conducted a self-inspection and safety consulting on fire facilities in collaboration with the Gyeonggi Jeonse Damage Support Center.
On that day, the Suwon Southern Fire Station provided safety consulting on fire prevention and maintenance of fire facilities for buildings affected by jeonse fraud.
Go Young-joo, chief of the Suwon Southern Fire Station, stated, "As the scale of jeonse fraud has recently grown, abandoned buildings have emerged as a social issue. We will strive to ensure that these buildings do not become blind spots for fire and disaster through continuous on-site safety guidance."
