Shinhan Bank, Wizdome, and SK Inno E&S Expand Hydrogen Commuter Bus Service

Business Agreement for Hydrogen Conversion of Corporate Employee Commuter Buses and More

Shinhan Bank, Wizdom, and SK Innovation E&S have joined hands to expand hydrogen commuter buses.

On the 19th, Shinhan Bank signed a business agreement with Wizdom and SK Innovation E&S at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to establish a 'hydrogen mobility ecosystem.'

They agreed to collaborate in areas such as purchase financing support, carbon reduction consulting, hydrogen refueling support, and fuel payment support to expand hydrogen buses. Shinhan Bank plans to apply the BaaS (Banking as a Service) model, a customized financial service for companies, to the hydrogen mobility ecosystem to improve financial accessibility for bus operators and help transition to eco-friendly buses.

Wizdom will apply its large corporate commuter bus network to this BaaS model to promote the rapid adoption and wider distribution of eco-friendly hydrogen buses. Wizdom is a bus mobility platform company that supports everything from seat reservations to fare payments for corporate employees using commuter buses. Currently, about 200 companies and 100,000 workers use the service. SK Innovation E&S is an energy company engaged in renewable energy, clean hydrogen, and energy solution businesses.
