As the first forum to be held in 2025, the event attracted significant attention with the attendance of Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yang Jae-saeng, Vice Chairmen Shin Han-chun, Lee Soo-tae, Moon Chang-seop, Jung Won-young, and Lee Oh-seon, as well as key figures such as Lee Dong-woon, Commissioner of the Busan Regional Tax Office, Park Jin-hyun, Director of KBS Busan Headquarters, and around 200 local businesspeople.

He examined the directions Busan companies should take by industry in light of the background and strategic intentions of the currency war following the inauguration of the second Trump administration.

In his lecture, Director Choi stated, "Trump is employing the currency war card to concentrate capital in the United States, thereby strengthening the US economy," and emphasized, "It is essential to identify beneficiary and affected industries by sector and establish defensive strategies through corporate risk management plans."

In his opening remarks, Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yang Jae-saeng said, "Since the launch of the second Trump administration, protectionism and tariff wars have intensified, making significant impacts inevitable not only for local companies but also for the Busan economy," adding, "In this uncertainty, it is time to collectively consider response strategies that will help local companies overcome the crisis and find new opportunities."
