Through this MOU, Danggeun will open a Gyeonggi Province-customized "Light Job Recruitment Center" within its platform and serve as a connector between companies and small business owners with workplaces in Gyeonggi Province and middle-aged and senior residents aged 50 to 64. "Light Job" is one of the three core projects for baby boomers in Gyeonggi Province. It refers to middle-aged and senior-friendly jobs with flexible working hours, typically about 24 to 35 hours per week.

Danggeun plans to support the entire process from posting job announcements to recruitment through its job service "Danggeun Alba." Employers can apply starting today through Gyeonggi Province's job platform "Jobaba Apply." If selected as eligible after screening by the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, the job postings can be uploaded on Danggeun Alba starting from the 24th. The first 3,000 job postings will be provided with free writing support features and will be awarded the Gyeonggi Province logo and a "Jobs for 50 and Over" badge.

Danggeun expects this to serve as a platform that offers new economic activity opportunities for middle-aged and senior job seekers and opportunities for workplaces to hire skilled personnel.

Hwang Do-yeon, CEO of Danggeun Market, said, "This attempt to connect private jobs in Gyeonggi Province with the middle-aged and senior population through our platform is a good example of how Danggeun’s hyper-local service can contribute to regional economic activities. We will continue to collaborate with various organizations to help create a sustainable job ecosystem in local communities."
