Busan Gijang-gun Gijang Women’s Saero Ilhagi Center, Recruiting Trainees for This Year’s Vocational Training Notice for Recruitment of Vocational Training Trainees at Gijang Women's New Start Center.

This training program is designed to strengthen the employment capabilities of women with career interruptions through intensive vocational skill development. It was selected as part of the 2025 Ministry of Gender Equality and Family’s vocational education and training project, and five courses will be conducted in two sessions: the first half and the second half of the year.

The training will select a total of 100 trainees, 20 per course, through interviews. In the first half of the year, the following courses will be offered: ▲ Hotel Room Management Training Course (April 3 ? April 23) ▲ Silver Care Practical Course (April 14 ? May 15) ▲ Computer Multi-Office Worker Training Course (April 16 ? June 16). In the second half, the courses include ▲ Practical Nursing Assistant Course (August 25 ? September 12) ▲ Social Welfare Practical Course (September 15 ? October 28).

Registration for the first half courses begins on the 24th, while registration for the second half courses starts on July 1. However, since the registration deadlines vary by course, it is necessary to carefully check the schedule.

Women wishing to apply for employment can visit the Gijang Women’s New Work Center on the first floor of Gijang County Office with their ID during the registration period for each course to apply in person. Detailed information such as eligibility, registration period, interview dates, announcement of successful candidates, and course start dates can be found on the county office website or by contacting the Gijang Women’s New Work Center.

Selected trainees will enjoy special benefits such as participating in mentor-mentee meeting days and employment clubs in addition to vocational education and training. In particular, the vocational education and training is fully funded by the national government, covering tuition (training fees) and textbook costs, and with the introduction of a participation incentive allowance this year, a high level of training participation is expected.

The Gijang Women’s New Work Center plans to strengthen its efforts to open employment opportunities for women seeking jobs by establishing a job cooperation network for each course.

County Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, “Through this vocational education and training, we expect to greatly contribute to the development of women’s vocational skills and employment capabilities, fostering female talent tailored to the local community and businesses.”
