Until the 7th of Next Month...
Various Events and Support Available
Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Jo Sangrae) announced on the 18th that it is recruiting businesses to join 'Gokseong Mall' until the 7th of next month.
Gokseong Mall is the official online shopping mall operated by Gokseong-gun, designed to promote the sale of local agricultural specialties and processed products, and to provide new sales channels for farmers and small business owners.
Eligible applicants include farmers, producer organizations, and processed food manufacturers, as well as individuals and small-scale farms possessing local resources suitable for listing. Applications can be submitted through the Agricultural Policy and Distribution Team or local town offices. For more details, please contact the Distribution Team.
There are no sales commission fees for businesses joining the platform. This allows businesses to offer their products to consumers at the prices they set, enhancing price competitiveness and maximizing profits by eliminating intermediary distribution stages.
This year, customized support will be provided to newly joining businesses. Gokseong Mall assists these businesses in effectively exposing their products to more consumers by supporting the creation of detailed product pages or providing online advertising costs. In particular, small businesses with little online marketing experience are being helped to quickly establish themselves in the market.
Since its official launch in October 2023, Gokseong Mall has played an important role in revitalizing the local economy. Farmers and small business owners can conduct direct transactions through Gokseong Mall, which is a key factor in boosting price competitiveness. As the Gokseong-gun brand becomes known nationwide through the mall, awareness and demand for local agricultural products are also expected to increase in the future.
An official from the county said, "We hope for great interest in Gokseong Mall, which will continue to provide stable sales channels for local farmers and small business owners, and grow into an important platform to promote local agricultural specialties to consumers nationwide."
