On the 18th, Dangjin City in Chungnam announced that it will implement a citizen informatization education program in 2025 to enhance citizens' digital capabilities.
This program will run until December 19, and any Dangjin citizen can participate free of charge.
The education will be conducted in 35 sessions across 16 courses, held at the computer training center on the 5th floor of Dangjin City Hall.
In particular, this year, the city plans to increase accessibility by adding more morning and afternoon classes.
The main curriculum includes basic computer and smartphone use, photo and video editing, block-based programming (block coding), practical training in Hangul, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as training on the use of unmanned information terminals (kiosks) and unmanned certificate issuance machines.
