Seosan Fire Station in Chungnam announced on the 18th that it conducted a training program to strengthen the capabilities of its new articulated ladder truck for responding to fires in high-rise buildings in the region from the 12th to the 17th.
This equipment is a 70-meter articulated ladder truck that can be deployed up to the 23rd floor, designed specifically to respond to fires in high-rise buildings.
This training was conducted to enhance fire response capabilities and to practice ladder truck water spraying techniques in preparation for fires in high-rise buildings.
The training included drills for dispatching to high-rise building fires, water supply training using the articulated ladder truck, and top-down water spraying exercises.
Chief Choi Jangil stated, "Since rapid response in the early stages is crucial for high-rise building fires, this training has further strengthened our practical response capabilities," adding, "We will continue to conduct regular training to respond quickly and effectively to various disaster situations."
