The Seosan City Council in Chungnam held the 2nd plenary session of its 302nd extraordinary meeting on the 18th, concluding the two-day schedule.

During this extraordinary session, a total of three agenda items were processed: one ordinance bill, one approval bill, and one other item.

The Administrative, Culture, and Welfare Committee passed the 'Partial Amendment Ordinance for Supporting Small Businesses in Seosan City' as originally proposed. However, although it was decided not to submit the '2025 First Occasional Public Property Management Plan Approval Bill' to the plenary session, the chairperson submitted it directly to the plenary session in accordance with Article 81 of the Local Autonomy Act.

Chairperson Cho Dongsik stated, "This extraordinary session was urgently convened through cooperation between the council and the executive branch to help local small business owners overcome the difficulties caused by the ongoing economic downturn. We will continue to actively cooperate to help revitalize the local economy and stabilize the livelihoods of our citizens."
