Completion of Dialogue with Residents in 14 Eup, Myeon, and Dong

Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province, concluded the 'Dialogue with Residents' held over 11 days starting from June 3rd in Jeungpo-dong on the 17th.

Through this dialogue with residents, Mayor Kim personally visited 14 eup, myeon, and dong areas to share the direction of city administration and major work plans with the residents, and to listen to their suggestions. To promptly address residents' inconveniences on-site, senior officials including department heads and section chiefs accompanied the visits.

Residents presented various opinions such as ▲improvement of traffic environment ▲maintenance of urban infrastructure ▲expansion of cultural and sports facilities ▲expansion of agricultural infrastructure, and Mayor Kim promised active review by related departments and the preparation of practical solutions.

Mayor Kim stated, "We will reflect the valuable opinions gathered from this dialogue with residents in city administration to bring about changes that citizens can feel," adding, "We will continue to strengthen communication with residents and pursue administration that finds answers directly on-site."
