The national table tennis team candidates are conducting their winter training camp at Boryeong Sports Complex in Chungnam until the 22nd.


According to Boryeong City, a total of 39 people are participating in this training, including 32 male and female national team candidates and 7 coaches.


The athletes are working to improve their skills and physical strength ahead of various international competitions to be held this year, while the coaches are focusing on enhancing technical and tactical proficiency through customized training tailored to each athlete's characteristics.


Boryeong Sports Complex offers an optimal training environment, making it a suitable place for technical and physical training.


A city official said, "We will do our best to ensure that this training serves as an important foundation for the athletes' long-term goals, beyond short-term achievements," and added, "We are pleased that our city can contribute to the development of table tennis in Korea."


Meanwhile, Boryeong City plans to use this training as a significant opportunity to promote the development of table tennis and will open the training site to local residents to increase interest in the sport.
