At the signing ceremony, a total of 12 organizations attended, including the LH Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters, Daegu Urban Development Corporation, Housing Management Corporation Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch, Dalseo-gu Volunteer Center, Daegu Dalseo Senior Club, and the Wolsong, Haksan, Bondong, Sangin, Seongseo, and Sindang Comprehensive Social Welfare Centers.
Each organization agreed to collaborate on practicing ESG and creating a green city, share responsibilities for the continuous maintenance and management of flowers and plants, provide financial and administrative support, conduct annual joint inspections to check and supplement growth conditions, and jointly promote additional planting and repair work.
In particular, the 'Hope Flower Garden' will be operated as a resident-participatory community gardening project, planting various flowers and trees by season to create a sustainable green space.
Lee Tae-hoon, Mayor of Daegu Dalseo-gu, stated, “I am pleased to provide residents with the opportunity to be close to nature and cultivate it themselves through this agreement,” and added, “We will continue to strive to improve the living environment and enhance residents’ quality of life.”
