Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Inspects Supplementary Construction at Bueong-i Neighborhood Park Mom Cafe

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the site on the afternoon of February 17 to inspect the supplementary construction of the Mom Cafe at Bu-eong-i Neighborhood Park in Sangam-dong.

The offline Mom Cafe promoted by Mapo District is a customized community space for women caregivers in their 20s to 50s, and is being established at Bu-eong-i Neighborhood Park with an area of approximately 43.56㎡.

On that day, Mayor Park Gang-su and staff from related departments carefully examined the shared kitchen, small library, and karaoke booth for stress relief, which were installed to promote information sharing and social interaction.

After the inspection, Mayor Park Gang-su said, “I hope the Mom Cafe will become a space for communication and healing for mothers, and I ask the related departments to pay special attention to this.” He added, “Mapo District will continue to do its best to make Mapo a place where both mothers and children can be happy.”
