Chanting Slogans Amid Shouting and Insults
Nearby Residents Complain of Inconvenience
Supporters of President Yoon Suk-yeol held a protest in front of the apartment presumed to be the residence of Moon Hyung-bae, Acting Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, on the afternoon of the 17th, following their demonstration in the morning.
At around 6 p.m. that day, they gathered in front of the main gate of an apartment in Jongno-gu, Seoul, shouting slogans such as "Moon Hyung-bae, resign" and "Impeachment invalid."

As the protest continued, apartment residents and passersby in the vicinity complained about the inconvenience caused by noise and verbal abuse.
There were also scenes of residents protesting against the police and the demonstrators.
In response, some protest participants pointed smartphones live-streaming on YouTube at the apartment residents or hurled insults at them.
The unofficial police estimate counted about 100 participants in the afternoon protest.
Earlier, they had also held a protest for about an hour from 7:30 a.m. during the morning rush hour.
They criticized Acting Chief Justice Moon, who is overseeing President Yoon's impeachment trial, and announced plans to hold demonstrations in front of the apartment for a month.
