The Gokseong Future Education Foundation announced on the 17th that it successfully concluded the "2025 Gokseong Future Technology Festival," which was held at Gokseong Kkumkium Maru from the 11th to the 15th.
This event was carried out as part of the pilot project for the Special Education Development Zone, and was designed to provide local students with opportunities to experience future technologies and foster creative thinking skills. Over the five days, more than 500 people visited and experienced a variety of future technologies.
In particular, a science principle experience exhibition was prepared in collaboration with the National Gwacheon Science Museum, offering 20 different science principle experiment displays that allowed students and visitors to increase their interest in science. In addition, various future technology experience programs such as 3D candy pen, IoT sensor experience, TurtleBot, VR experience, and avatar sensor experience were operated, providing participants with opportunities to directly experience new technologies.
One student who participated in the event said, "The VR experience was so amazing and fun. I hope there will be more opportunities like this in the future."
A foundation official emphasized, "Through this year's Future Technology Festival, we hope that local students have increased their interest in science and technology and that it has helped them prepare for future society. We will continue to operate various programs to support students in developing creativity and innovation."
Meanwhile, the Gokseong Future Education Foundation plans to continue operating a variety of future education programs and expand opportunities for local students to experience and learn about future technologies.
