Opening of Direct Seat Bus '8204' Between Anseong and Beomgye Station in Anyang

Via Gyeongbu and Yeongdong Expressways

On the 17th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it held an opening ceremony for the operation of the '8204' direct seat bus at Anseong General Bus Terminal, attended by Mayor Kim Bora, transportation company officials, and others.

This route departs from Anseong General Bus Terminal, stops at Anseong Matchum Gonggam Center, Hankyong National University, Chung-Ang University, Daerim Dongsan, Gongdo Intercity Bus Stop, and Jueun Punglim Apartments, then passes through Anseong IC and Buk Suwon IC to operate up to Anyang Beomgye Station.

The city expected improved accessibility with the opening of this route, as the existing Anseong~Anyang~Bucheon intercity bus route had been suspended since COVID-19, causing inconvenience to citizens.

Mayor Kim Bora of Anseong said, "In addition to the two metropolitan bus routes currently operating to Gangnam Station and the five direct seat-type city bus routes to Suwon, Seongnam, and others, we will consider adding new routes so that citizens can use public transportation conveniently and easily."
