The May 18 Memorial Foundation announced on the 17th that it is publicly recruiting domestic and international research institutions and academic organizations for the '2025 Joint Academic Conference Project'.
Applications for the contest will be accepted until the 28th.
The foundation plans to select a total of three projects as joint academic conference projects through an application review process. In addition, the selected joint academic conferences will receive budget support for participant allowances, travel expenses, and promotional material production costs.
A representative from the May 18 Memorial Foundation stated, "We expect that this open call project will broaden the horizons of research on the May 18 Democratization Movement and serve as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation among domestic and international researchers," and added, "The achievements of the joint academic conferences will also be posted on the foundation's research platform to be shared with citizens."
