Daily self-care cosmetic brand AVAJAR announced on the 17th that it has signed a cosmetics distribution supply contract with local distributor D-fusion to expand its distribution in Japan.
This contract was made as part of a strategic partnership to allow Japanese consumers to experience AVAJAR's innovative beauty products more closely.
D-fusion is a company specializing in the distribution of beauty and lifestyle products, collaborating with Japan's four major wholesale distributors?Haltak, Arata, Idaryokokudo, and Ooyama?and securing broad market accessibility through close cooperation with key distribution channels in Japan.
Through this contract, AVAJAR plans to actively expand its offline and online distribution networks in the Japanese market, which ranks third globally after the US and China with an annual scale of approximately 4.5 trillion yen (about 40 trillion KRW). The company will introduce various skincare products led by its flagship lifting mask pack. In particular, AVAJAR aims to enhance local customer satisfaction centered on the lifting mask pack, which has already received positive reviews among Japanese consumers, thereby establishing a foundation for sustainable growth.
An AVAJAR representative stated, "We are very pleased to strengthen our position in the Japanese market through cooperation with D-fusion and to present AVAJAR's innovative beauty products to Japanese customers. We will continue our efforts to promote the excellence of Korean cosmetics in the global market."
Meanwhile, AVAJAR successfully completed a week-long pop-up event called ‘MEKOKORE in MARUI’ at the Yurakucho branch of Tokyo Marui Department Store from the 22nd to the 28th of last month. Through this event, the brand conveyed its value to Japanese consumers, introduced various product lines centered on the flagship lifting mask pack, and achieved promotional effects through various events such as lucky draws.
