Support for a Total of 128 Vehicles
Until the Budget Is Exhausted
Imsil County in North Jeolla Province will implement a private electric vehicle supply project this year.
According to the county on the 17th, this project has been promoted to reduce air pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions. This year, a total of 128 electric vehicles will be supplied, with purchase support provided for 65 passenger cars and 63 trucks.
The amount of subsidy support varies depending on the type and size of the vehicle. For electric passenger cars, up to 12.1 million KRW per vehicle is provided, and for electric trucks, up to 17.5 million KRW is supported.
Eligibility to apply is limited to residents aged 18 or older who have continuously maintained their address in the county for at least three months (90 days) prior to the application date, as well as corporations and businesses with offices located in the county for the same period.
Applications for the private electric vehicle supply project will be accepted starting today until the budget is exhausted.
Recipients will be selected in the order of vehicle delivery and registration. If the vehicle is not delivered within two months after the recipient qualification is granted, the selection will be canceled.
Those wishing to purchase an electric vehicle should visit an automobile dealership to sign a purchase contract and then submit the purchase support application through the dealership to the Zero Emission Vehicle Integrated Portal.
