"Conversion to Payco Points... No Additional Billing Procedures"
Open Event Featuring Prizes Such as Hawaii Travel Vouchers
NHN Payco welcomes 1 million public officials as customers. It becomes the first simple payment company to provide welfare point services for public officials. The company emphasized that it offers greater convenience than card payments.
On the 17th, NHN Payco announced that it was selected as a service agency for the Public Officials Pension Service's customized welfare points. Customized welfare for public officials is a system that supports individuals to freely choose where to use their allocated welfare points. NHN Payco became a welfare point payment agency for the pension service along with seven existing card companies.
NHN Payco highlighted the convenience unique to simple payments. It guided users to convert existing customized welfare points into Payco points on the pension service's customized welfare portal site under 'Welfare Points Claim.' With just one conversion application, points can be easily used at online and offline affiliated stores without additional billing procedures. It also supports mobile simple payments and the use of Payco welfare point cards. In other words, it is more convenient than existing card payments.
In addition to using welfare points, NHN Payco plans to provide additional promotional benefits such as this month's Payco brand and coupon discounts. To commemorate the service launch, customers who convert their customized welfare points to Payco will be given prizes. They will be automatically entered into a draw upon converting to Payco welfare points. Prizes include 1st place: Hawaii overseas travel voucher (1 person), 2nd place: iPad (10 people), 3rd place: Payco 50,000 KRW gift certificate (50 people), 4th place: Payco 10,000 KRW gift certificate (500 people), and 5th place: Starbucks Americano (600 people).
An NHN Payco official said, "Through cooperation with the pension service, we will support public officials to use their customized welfare points conveniently," adding, "We will continue to strengthen functions to provide simple and practical welfare services and enhance additional benefits such as discounts, rewards, and promotions during payments."
Payco welfare points are used by about 64,000 employees of 630 companies and institutions. Last year, the annual transaction amount and number of users increased by 44% and 46% respectively compared to the previous year.
