18 Billion KRW Support for Revitalizing the Textile Fashion Industry... "Focused Support to Secure Export Competitiveness"

This year's project plans to support 15 tasks with 18 billion KRW, focusing on promoting eco-friendly transition in the textile fashion sector, spreading AI and digital-based technologies, and securing export competitiveness.

Through this, the project will support the establishment of a sustainable circular ecosystem in the textile field, such as the use of eco-friendly materials and the expansion of recycling. It will also promote projects to implement the "Textile Fashion Industry Competitiveness Enhancement Strategy" announced by the government in August last year, including the development of AI-based solutions to shorten the time required for fashion design and support for the establishment of automated facilities. Additionally, it will intensively support acquiring overseas certifications, participating in exhibitions and export consultation meetings, and prototype production to respond to the rapidly changing export environment.

Detailed project announcements can be found on the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy website, the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and the Integrated Subsidy Portal. Companies and institutions wishing to participate in the project can submit their applications to the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology and the Integrated Subsidy Portal from July 4 to 18.
