Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical, a company specializing in over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with ABM Lab to strengthen market competitiveness through securing university student customers and analyzing consumer data.
Through this agreement, Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical plans to establish a strategic partnership with ABM Lab for ▲acquiring new customers in their 20s among university students ▲collecting big data from university students ▲validating the product market at university freshmen orientations.
The company intends to conduct an in-depth analysis of the lifestyle and consumption patterns of university students, a young and dynamic consumer group, to differentiate its future product portfolio and enhance marketing strategies. To this end, promotions will be conducted at freshmen orientations at a total of 20 universities, including Yonsei University and Korea University. The company also explained that it plans to analyze consumer data in real time using university student big data solutions.
A representative from Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical stated, “University student consumer data is a key indicator that reflects not only simple statistical figures but also the emotions and lifestyle changes of the younger generation. Through this collaboration, we will closely analyze university student consumption trends and accelerate the development of customer-tailored products and services.”
