President Trump said, "We are moving forward," and added, "We are working very hard to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine."

When asked whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would participate in the peace negotiations, he replied, "He will participate." President Trump had previously announced on the 12th that he had spoken with President Putin and agreed to start negotiations to end the war.

Regarding concerns about Russia potentially invading NATO member countries, which President Zelensky warned about in an interview with NBC News on the same day, Trump said, "Not at all."

Meanwhile, in response to reports that the European Union (EU) is considering limiting the import ban on some U.S. food products in retaliation to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, he said, "I don't care. Let them do it," adding, "If they do, they will only hurt themselves. It's unimaginable but not important."
