KMA: "Magnitude 2.2 Earthquake in Yeosu Geomundo Sea... No Damage Expected"

At 1:42 PM on the 16th, a magnitude 2.2 earthquake occurred in the sea area 37 km southwest by west of Geomundo, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the epicenter was at 33.91 degrees north latitude and 126.94 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 20 km. The KMA stated, "There will be no earthquake damage."
