According to Emart on the 16th, Traders Magok Branch achieved daily sales of 2 billion KRW on its opening day, the 14th, setting a new nationwide daily sales record for Traders. On the 15th, daily sales increased to 2.4 billion KRW, breaking the record within just one day. The previous highest daily sales record was 1.87 billion KRW set by Traders Dongtan Branch on July 2, 2022. Emart analyzed that "the high demand for large-capacity cost-effective products was due to the impact of high inflation."

The number of visitors recorded by the POS (cash register) on the 14th was 13,000 customers. Considering that customers usually visit in groups of 2 to 3 family members, more than 25,000 people actually visited on the opening day alone. It is estimated that the total number of customers over Friday and Saturday exceeded 50,000.

On the opening day, Traders Magok Branch sold 4 tons of strawberries, 10 tons of imported meat such as Wagyu and lamb chops, 1,000 large-sized sushi platters for 3-4 people, and over 500 kg of salmon sashimi. High-priced home appliances also attracted attention. With an ongoing home appliance event offering discounts up to 1.55 million KRW until the 2nd of next month, customers showed strong interest in large appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines, digital appliances like cameras, and even rice cookers.

Considering the demand from the office district, the largest 'T-Cafe (170 pyeong)' was opened, which reportedly attracted about 5,000 visitors in one day on the 14th (estimated by Traders Magok Branch). Various menu items such as pizza, meat bake, and pho gained popularity.

Whiskey also drew attention with early sell-outs and rush purchases. The 'Kim Chang-su Whiskey Distillery' exclusively produced 'Kim Chang-su Whiskey Single Cask 51.8 (700 ml, 239,800 KRW)' for Traders, and the largest quantity ever secured for a single store of 'Hibiki' and the recently popular 'Macallan Sherry 12 Years' all sold out within 30 minutes of the store opening. Additionally, customers continued to visit experiential spaces such as the 'Bandai Namco Gundam' and 'Capsule Toy Machine' roadshows, which offered both benefits and entertainment.

Meanwhile, Traders Magok Branch is a newly opened store 14 months after the Suwon Hwaseo Branch (22nd store), which opened in December 2023. It is the first warehouse discount store in the Gangseo area of Seoul and the first large supermarket in the Magok New Town. It is the second store in Seoul following Wolgye Branch (16th store, opened in March 2019). The store size is 11,636 cubic meters (approximately 3,520 pyeong), making it the largest among all Traders stores.
