This project consists of oral examinations and oral health education to help growing children maintain healthy oral conditions and develop proper oral care habits.
Based on the examination results, preventive treatments such as fluoride application and dental sealants are provided. The education includes various experiential programs tailored to the children's level, such as △oral examination △proper tooth brushing practice △use of oral hygiene products △fluoride application.
Kang Jong-ho, Director of Health Promotion, stated, “We are promoting this project to provide customized oral care services considering the different oral conditions and lifestyles of children, so they can maintain healthy oral health on their own from an early age. We will also strive to help residents maintain healthy oral conditions through continuous oral health promotion projects targeting all generations, not just this project.”
