Attorney Designation Withdrawal Submitted on the 11th
Seok Dong-hyun, known as President Yoon Suk-yeol's lawyer and 'a friend of 40 years,' is understood to have recently resigned as the legal representative of Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church.
According to the legal community on the 14th, Dongjin Law Firm, where Lawyer Seok serves as the lead attorney, submitted a withdrawal of attorney designation to the Seoul Northern District Court on the 11th regarding Pastor Jeon's violation of the Public Official Election Act case.
The case Lawyer Seok had been handling involved allegations of bribery against Pastor Jeon. Previously, Pastor Jeon was indicted without detention in October last year on charges of demanding money in exchange for recommending candidates for the proportional representation of the Liberty Unification Party ahead of the April 10 general elections last year.
