Goryeong-gun (Governor Lee Nam-cheol) announced on the 14th that it signed the 'Goryeong-gun Industrial Accident Prevention Business Agreement' with the Daegu Western Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency and the Goryeong-gun Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 13th.
At the signing ceremony, Lee Nam-cheol, Governor of Goryeong-gun, Jo Dong-je, Head of the Daegu Western Branch of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and Kim Jong-tae, Chairman of the Goryeong-gun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended and agreed to continue mutual cooperation and exchange to strengthen the prevention of industrial accidents in the Goryeong-gun area.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ sharing statistics such as the current status and actual condition survey of industrial accidents in Goryeong-gun ▲ joint workplace inspections and technical guidance support ▲ development of industrial accident prevention projects and education tailored to regional characteristics ▲ joint campaigns and publicity to spread a safety culture ▲ support for establishing a public administration safety and health management system in Goryeong-gun.
Governor Lee Nam-cheol of Goryeong-gun said, "This business agreement is highly meaningful as major institutions in the field of industrial safety and health have agreed to cooperate to prevent industrial accidents and spread a safety culture amid safety emerging as a societal value of our time. We will actively promote and strive to raise the level of industrial safety in Goryeong-gun and create safe workplaces with the goal of zero industrial accidents."
