Celebrating the 30,000th Subscriber of the Savings Deduction for SME Employees
Special Event Held to Mark the Milestone
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, together with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, held a celebration event for the 30,000th subscriber of the ‘Savings Deduction for SME Employees’ and a meeting with small and medium-sized enterprises on the 14th.
The event took place at the IBK Changwon Branch, where Oh Young-joo, Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Yoo Il-kwang, Vice President of IBK’s Personal Customer Group, attended to congratulate the 30,000th SME employee subscriber and encourage IBK staff.
Following this, a meeting held at IBK’s Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters was attended by Yang Young-bong, Director of the Changwon Employment and Labor Office, and representatives from seven SMEs based in Gyeongnam that do business with IBK. They shared difficulties and challenges related to workforce management in local SMEs and discussed support measures together.
Vice President Yoo stated, “The revival of the manufacturing industry, which is a foundational industry, is essential to boosting vitality across the entire industrial sector,” adding, “We will actively support financial services for workers who diligently work on the industrial frontlines.”
