The "2025 Yeonggwang County Governor and Residents Dialogue Event" concluded with meetings with residents of Yeonggwang-eup and Daema-myeon.

On the morning of the 14th at 10:30 AM, Yeonggwang County Governor Jang Seil gathered various opinions from residents on local issues, including plans to create a youth-friendly city, during a dialogue held at the Yeonggwang-eup Office.

At the event, Governor Jang promised administrative support for initiatives such as "urban regeneration projects to attract young people" and "revitalization of local commercial districts and economic recovery."

He also listened to residents' concerns, including the maintenance project for the dangerous road section between Ipseok and Gyesong on County Road No. 4, and discussed possible solutions.

Later that day at 2 PM, he met with Daema-myeon residents and continued his communication efforts by exchanging various development ideas related to Daema Makgeolli, a local specialty.

With this dialogue, Governor Jang completed the "Dialogue with Residents," which began on the 10th in Baeksu-eup and Yeomsan-myeon and continued for five days (11th in Myoryang-myeon and Bulgab-myeon, 12th in Hongnong-eup and Beopseong-myeon, 13th in Gunnan-myeon and Gunseo-myeon, and 14th in Yeonggwang-eup and Daema-myeon).

This series of dialogues was highly praised for presenting Governor Jang's vision for regional development to local residents and for allowing administrative officials to directly hear about residents' everyday challenges. In particular, it was noted that the dialogues broke down barriers between the governor and the residents and deepened mutual communication.

An official from Yeonggwang County stated, "Through the five-day dialogue between the governor and residents, we were able to learn about various local issues that had previously gone unnoticed. Many staff members, led by the governor, are working hard for the development of Yeonggwang County. We will actively engage in administration so that the raised issues can be appropriately addressed."
