"Discussing Cooperation on North Korean Nuclear Issue and Economic Security"
On the 15th, the foreign ministers of Korea, the United States, and Japan will hold their first meeting since the inauguration of the second Trump administration.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 14th that Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yeol will hold a Korea-US-Japan foreign ministers' meeting on the afternoon of the 15th in Munich, Germany, together with US Secretary of State Mike Rubio and Japanese Foreign Minister Iwaya Takeshi. This meeting is taking place in conjunction with the Munich Security Conference (MSC), an international security conference.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "It is expected to be an opportunity to discuss ways to develop Korea-US-Japan cooperation, respond to the North Korean nuclear issue, regional situations, and enhance cooperation in the field of economic security."
