Notably, this congress is the first to be held domestically in 10 years since the 2014 Seoul event, and is expected to serve as a platform to share the National Forensic Service's outstanding forensic science technologies and discuss the expansion of international development projects.

Incheon Tourism Organization and the National Forensic Service signed a memorandum of understanding on the 13th to establish a forum for international forensic science exchange and to activate networks between Korea and Asian countries through this congress.

Baek Hyun, President of Incheon Tourism Organization, stated, "We will support Incheon tourism programs to invite Asian related institutions, promote Incheon's charm to the international community, and elevate Korea's status in forensic science and legal medicine." He added, "We will work closely with the National Forensic Service to ensure the success of the event."
