Targeting Houses Over 20 Years Old
25 Households to Be Selected
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting applicants for a home repair support project aimed at improving the performance and appearance of aging detached houses until the 28th of this month.
The support targets detached houses that have been in use for more than 20 years since their approval date, and the owner listed on the registered copy of the property can apply. A total of 25 households will be supported. Support is provided up to a limit of 12 million KRW per household, with the condition that applicants bear at least 10% of the total construction cost. However, recipients of basic living subsidies, low-income households, and single-parent families will receive full coverage of repair costs.
Applicants wishing to receive support can apply by accessing the local subsidy management system "Botaem e," and applications through authorized representatives are also accepted.
The city prioritizes support for housing-vulnerable groups and semi-basement houses vulnerable to disaster risks. In cases where applicants have the same selection score, the city plans to select in order of higher scores based on criteria such as building aging, duration of owner’s direct residence, impact on surrounding landscape, and project feasibility.
