Gyeonggi-do Hires 825 People Through Customized Job Agencies for Disabled

Gyeonggi Province is recruiting people with disabilities to participate in the ‘Customized Job Project for People with Disabilities’ until the 26th.

The Customized Job Project for People with Disabilities started in 2018 as the ‘Customized Jobs by Disability Type’ and expanded in 2021 to the ‘Rights-Centered Customized Jobs for Severely Disabled People.’ From January to mid-February this year, the project conducted a public recruitment and selection evaluation process for implementing organizations and selected the organizations.

This year, compared to last year, the number of implementing organizations increased by 15, and the number of job participants increased by 135, resulting in a total of 825 people being employed across 53 organizations.

Implementing organizations for customized jobs by disability type provide services such as vocational training, direct jobs, and private employment linkage, while implementing organizations for rights-centered customized jobs for severely disabled people offer activities including ▲advocacy for the rights of people with disabilities ▲cultural and artistic activities for people with disabilities ▲awareness improvement activities for disabilities.
