Activities as Health Guardians After Completing Training
The Jeonbuk Haengbok Wanju Health Living Support Center announced on the 13th that it is openly recruiting 'Health Leaders' who can plan and participate in health programs for local residents.
Anyone who is interested in health and is committed to fostering a healthy lifestyle atmosphere to promote the well-being of the community is eligible to apply.
Those selected as Health Leaders will receive training on topics such as understanding resident-led public health projects, the roles and attitudes of health leaders, methods to activate community organizations, and identifying local health conditions and establishing practical strategies. After completing the training, they will serve as health guardians by helping to solve local health issues, providing health-related information, and promoting health initiatives.
Residents who wish to apply can do so at the Haengbok Wanju Health Living Support Center by the 21st.
Lee Jaeyeon, head of the public health center, said, "We expect health leaders to play a key role in revitalizing resident-led public health projects," and added, "As anyone can become a health leader, we hope for active participation from all residents."
Meanwhile, the center trained 18 health leaders last year to lead the way in promoting healthy lifestyles among local residents and helped manage the health of over 100 elderly people living alone.
