On the 12th, Kim Dong-il, Director of the Budget Office at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, stated, "At this turning point where global technological hegemony is being reshaped by mega trend changes such as DeepSeek shock, we will actively support guaranteeing research autonomy and creativity."

In his welcoming remarks at the 'Leading R&D Performance Diffusion Conference' held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, Director Kim said, "Moving away from the position of a follower, leading R&D will be the key that opens the door to opportunities through challenge and innovation."
