Netmarble to Launch 'RF Online Next' on March 20... "Free-to-Play Space War"

Large-Scale Battles with the Massive Combat Machine "Shingi"

Netmarble announced on the 12th that it will release its first new title of the year, 'RF Online Next,' on the 20th of next month. This game is a new work utilizing the intellectual property (IP) of 'RF Online,' which gained popularity as a space war game since its release in 2004.

General Producer Hong Kwang-min stated at an online showcase held that afternoon, "We have strived to deliver the fundamental charm of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the continuous joy of growth." It was explained that players can acquire the large combat machine called 'Shingi' without payment, enjoy large-scale battles using Shingi, and grow quickly. Additionally, six types of 'Biosuits' suitable for combat situations such as PvP and ranged combat are available.

In RF Online Next, players can also enjoy large-scale competitive content. There are contents such as 'Mine War,' where up to 450 participants compete to monopolize key growth resources; 'Paradise Conquest,' where four guilds fight to take control of the space station 'Nakwon'; and the world-scale war 'Planet Occupation War,' competing for planetary ownership.
