T'way Air announced on the 12th that it is publicly recruiting flight crew for the B777 aircraft model (experienced captains and first officers).
For experienced captains, applicants must hold a domestic transport pilot license (land multi-engine) and a valid domestic aviation radio operator certificate, and have at least 500 hours of flight experience as a transport aircraft captain.
First officers must hold either a domestic transport pilot license (land multi-engine) or a commercial pilot license (land multi-engine), along with a valid domestic aviation radio operator certificate. They must also have a total flight time of at least 1,000 hours on transport aircraft. Experience working as a first officer at domestic or international airlines is required.
Aviation medical certification and proficiency in spoken aviation English are common eligibility requirements. Anyone who meets the eligibility criteria and has no disqualifications for overseas travel can apply. The selection process begins with document screening, followed by first and second interviews. The expected date of employment may change around mid-April.
