Samsung Welstory Partners with Overseas Famous Restaurants, Serving Japan's Ichiran Ramen in Cafeterias

Tonkotsu Ramen Now Served in Cafeterias

Samsung Welstory is collaborating with local overseas restaurants.

Samsung Welstory announced on the 13th that it will provide "Tonkotsu Ramen" in its cafeterias in partnership with Japan's "Ichiran Ramen." This collaboration is part of Samsung Welstory's newly launched "Global Restaurant Collaboration" promotion this year. The company plans to offer local restaurant menus in cafeterias according to the themes of countries selected quarterly, including Japan, Singapore, the United States, and Australia.

Ichiran Ramen is a popular ramen restaurant in Japan, the first themed country selected by Samsung Welstory. It is famous for its pork bone broth that completely removes any unpleasant odor and its special sauce made with over 30 ingredients.

Samsung Welstory focused on ensuring that the taste of Ichiran Ramen served in large-scale catering facilities is identical to that eaten locally by using meal kits developed based on Ichiran Ramen's directly managed stores. Along with Ichiran Ramen, the saltiness of the broth and the doneness of the noodles, as well as plating and tableware, were similarly reproduced to provide the feeling of dining at a restaurant in Japan.

Starting with Ichiran Ramen, Samsung Welstory plans to expand collaborations with famous local Japanese restaurants to offer various representative Japanese dishes such as udon, motsunabe, and gyudon.

A Samsung Welstory official said, "Starting with Japan, we plan to showcase gourmet foods matching the themes of various countries such as Singapore in the second quarter and the United States and Australia in the third quarter in our cafeterias."
