Edge AI and AIoT platform specialist Trueen announced on the 12th the launch of the next-generation smart home camera “Igloo S8,” which incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Trueen, a leading company in the public sector video surveillance market, integrates its self-developed AI technology into its cloud-based home camera (brand name: Igloo) to provide a smart user experience.
The Igloo S8 features AI behavior analysis and real-time breathing monitoring functions. In particular, it provides risk alerts for infants during separate sleep when they turn over, leave designated areas, or show abnormal breathing, enabling quick response. Customized alert settings and cry sound differentiation minimize unnecessary alarms, and it also supports automatic lullaby playback. Users can easily check data related to detected events through the app (APP).
Security features have also been significantly enhanced. In response to the recent increase in privacy video leaks caused by IP camera hacking, software security policies equivalent to those of public institution CCTVs have been applied. Additionally, users can directly block the camera lens as a self-security measure whenever desired, minimizing the risk of personal information leakage.
