Gyeonggi-do Icheon City will carry out a cadastral resurvey project this year on 184 parcels totaling 71,059㎡ in the areas of Hu-an 3 District in Hobeop-myeon and Sinchu 3 District in Yul-myeon.

The cadastral resurvey project is a national initiative that corrects discrepancies between the registered cadastral records and the actual land use, converting them into digital cadastral data. Through this, landowners within the project area can smoothly resolve land-related complaints such as elimination of blind land, building encroachments, and boundary disputes.

Last year, the city held residents’ briefings at village halls in each project district to gather residents’ opinions. Currently, the city is installing reference points for cadastral resurvey surveying and collecting consent forms from landowners for the designation of the cadastral resurvey district.

This year’s project is funded with 38 million KRW in national subsidies and will be completed by next year through procedures including cadastral resurvey surveying, boundary setting consultations, and adjustment payment settlements due to area increases or decreases. For more details, please contact the Cadastral Resurvey Team of the Land Information Division at Icheon City Hall.

A city official stated, "We will do our best to complete the project in a way that minimizes area changes and eliminates economic burdens on owners by conducting the cadastral resurvey."
