Goryeong-gun Puts Full Effort into Securing National and Provincial Road Budget

This report meeting was organized to systematically establish strategies for securing national and provincial funds, which are key resources for regional development, and to strengthen cooperation and responsiveness among departments.

The meeting began with a comprehensive report on the promotion strategy, followed by project reports from each department. Each department shared their plans for securing national and provincial funds and their achievements so far, discussing effective response measures aligned with changes in government fiscal policies. In particular, the focus was on strategies reflecting changes in national fiscal conditions and government policy directions, emphasizing more proactive response measures.

County Governor Lee Nam-cheol stated, “In recent years, due to tax revenue shortfalls and the government's fiscal soundness policy, the importance of securing national and provincial funds has increased,” and added, “Please do your best to achieve tangible results not just in budget acquisition but also in regional development and realizing county administration goals.”

Following a visit to the National Assembly on the 10th by County Governor Lee Nam-cheol and related officials to secure national budgets and resolve regional issues, Goryeong-gun is starting full-scale efforts to secure national and provincial funds through this report meeting. The county plans to implement multifaceted strategies, including strengthening cooperation with central government ministries and Gyeongbuk Province, and actively responding to public contest projects.
