Gyeongbuk Development Corporation to Recruit 60 Preliminary Tenants for Pohang Songdo and Bonghwa Happy Housing... Rent at 70% of Market Price

30 Rental Units to Be Supplied in Chilgok Waegwan

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jae-hyuk) announced on the 12th that it is recruiting tenants and prospective tenants for vacant units in the Bonghwa and Pohang Songdo Happy Housing.

The application period is from the 17th to the 28th. Applications are completed by submitting the required documents via registered mail, and applicants must meet both conditions of ‘household members without a home and certain income and asset requirements.’ If qualified, residents can live for up to 20 years.

Pohang Songdo Happy Housing

Currently, there are vacant units of ‘3 households in Bonghwa (29m², 36m²) and 1 household in Pohang (37m²),’ and these 4 units can be contracted and occupied immediately after the announcement of the winners. Additionally, more than 10 prospective tenants per region and unit size, totaling 60 households, will be recruited.

The advantage of this Happy Housing is the ‘affordable rent at about 70% of the surrounding market price.’ In the second half of this year, 30 integrated public rental housing units in Chilgok Waegwan are scheduled to be supplied.
