On the 11th, the recipients of the 2024 second half government outstanding public official awards included Choi Dae-seok, Planning and Budget Officer, who received the Presidential Citation; Oh Eun-gyeom, Head of the Finance Division, and Kim Kyung-im, Officer of the Administration Division, who received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Citation. The Prime Minister's Award for Exemplary Government Officials was given to Lee Mi-seon, Officer of the Resident Life Division, and Jeong Jong-wook, Officer of the Safety Management Division.
Officer Choi, who received the Presidential Citation, elevated the county administration's prestige externally by winning the Excellence Award at the 2024 National Basic Local Government Manifesto Competition and being selected as an excellent institution in the 2024 Local Government Innovation and Proactive Administration Comprehensive Evaluation.
Oh, who received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Citation, contributed to gender equality, the creation of a happy women-friendly city, and the establishment of a family-friendly environment in the Welfare Support Division. Officer Kim successfully hosted the 2024 Gyeongnam Goseong Dinosaur World Expo by managing the Goseong Cultural Tourism Foundation and establishing a human resource base.
Officer Lee, recipient of the Prime Minister's Award for Exemplary Government Officials, contributed to the promotion of the climate response urban forest creation project and addressed residents' inconveniences through street tree maintenance and damaged tree management. Officer Jeong established an organic cooperation system among civilians, government, and military to successfully conduct the Eulji Exercise, and actively operated the Integrated Defense Council to spread awareness of regional security and promote the importance of national security.
