Emart24 Launches Used Car Rental Service Nationwide... "Aiming for the Lowest Price"

Emart24 announced on the 12th that it will provide a used car rental service in collaboration with the vehicle dealer discount promotion platform 'Kapia' for two weeks until the 26th.

When customers visit Emart24 stores nationwide and leave their contact information, Kapia conducts product-related consultations and payments via phone, supporting vehicle matching that applies the highest discount rate aiming for the lowest price estimate in Korea. After operating the used rental car service for a limited period, the company plans to decide whether to introduce the official service later.

The used rental car service combines the advantages of used cars, which are cheaper than new cars, with the benefits of rental cars, which have low initial costs and maintenance expenses. Compared to new car rentals, the monthly payment is up to 30% cheaper. All customers who sign contracts at Emart24 during the service period will receive a fuel voucher worth 200,000 KRW.

Previously, Emart24 has been providing long-term rental car services since August 2023. Battery charging stations targeting electric bike users are currently operating at 57 stores. The company explained that this is to diversify customer touchpoints and provide differentiated value experiences. From the perspective of partner companies, collaborating with convenience stores can generate new customers and is expected to have promotional effects through Emart24 stores nationwide.
