National Assembly, Government, and Industry Gather to Address Real Estate PF Issues

National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee Chairman Member of Parliament Maeng Seong-gyu and Policy Committee Whip Member of Parliament Kang Jun-hyun will jointly hold a "Discussion Forum for the Advancement of Real Estate PF" at 1:30 PM on the 20th in the 2nd Seminar Room of the National Assembly Members' Office Building.
This forum is co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Real Estate Development Association, with sponsorship from the Korea Housing Association, the Korea Construction Association, and the Korea REITs Association. Starting with congratulatory remarks from Park Sang-woo, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the forum will diagnose issues in the real estate project financing (PF) market and discuss advancement measures.
The first presentation will be delivered by KDI Research Fellow Hwang Soon-joo on "Problems and Structural Improvement Measures of Domestic Real Estate PF." Following this, Research Fellow Lee Jin from the Korea Real Estate Development Association will present on the topic "Diagnosis and Opportunities of the Real Estate PF Crisis."
After the presentations, a comprehensive discussion will be moderated by Professor Emeritus Cho Man from the KDI Graduate School of International Policy. Participants in the discussion include Kim Seung-beom, Director of the Real Estate Investment System Division at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; Kang Young-soo, Director of the Financial Policy Division at the Financial Services Commission; Lee Bo-mi, Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of Finance; Lee Cheol-seung, CEO of Aegis Asset Management; and Kang Myung-gi, Accountant at Hanil Accounting Corporation, who will discuss countermeasures from the financial, construction industries, and government perspectives.
