They directly delivered 200 servings of meals such as gamjatang to elderly people living alone and nearby homebound seniors. They also donated 40,000 briquettes and 1,000 boxes of ramen. The volunteer activity was participated in by the 'Charlotte Volunteer Group,' composed of employees from Lotte Construction's Yeongnam branch and the Busan area.

Lotte Construction has been continuing the 'Sharing Love Briquettes' campaign since 2011. So far, they have supported a total of 781,500 briquettes, including 400,000 in Seoul and 381,500 in Busan.

A Lotte Construction official said, "We prepared so that local residents can stay warm during the cold winter," and added, "We will continue various volunteer activities nationwide to fulfill our social responsibilities."

This donation was raised through a '1:3 Matching Grant' system, where employees contribute part of their salary and the company adds three times that amount. Last year, Lotte Construction supported clothing and bedding washing and drying services for seniors in cooperation with the Busan Briquette Bank.
