The People Power Party Daegu City Party Nomination Management Committee (Chairman Kang Dae-sik) announced on the 11th that six candidates have submitted their documents for the by-election for the 6th electoral district councilor seat in Dalseo-gu.
Kim Ju-beom (48), former Dalseo-gu Council member; Bae Ji-sook (56), former chairperson of the Daegu City Council; Oh Jeong-hee (58), deputy spokesperson of the People Power Party Daegu City Party; Lee Gwan-seok (66), executive director of the Yeungnam University Alumni Association; Lee Byeong-cheon (70), vice chairman of the People Power Party Daegu City Party; and Chae Young-jun (54), president of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Small Business Support Association, have applied for the nomination.
The People Power Party Daegu City Party Nomination Management Committee plans to thoroughly review the candidates through document screening, candidate interviews, and comprehensive evaluation (including morality, expertise, electability, and contributions to the party and region) before selecting the nominee.
