The Damyang Cultural Foundation (Chairman Lee Byungno, hereafter referred to as the Foundation) announced on the 11th that it will hold an information session on the Living Culture and Arts Education Support Project for local residents and cultural artists (organizations) at 2 p.m. on the 19th at the Osaek-dong of Haedong Culture and Arts Village.


This year’s Living Culture and Arts Education Support Project aims to make culture and arts a part of daily life for the citizens, offering customized programs for various age groups and social classes. The Foundation will strengthen broad support for cultural and artistic activities accessible to all generations, focusing on narrowing the cultural gap between towns and villages by improving cultural accessibility.


The projects being promoted include: ▲Support for Living Culture and Arts Clubs ‘Byeolseureon Dongari’ ▲Visiting Culture and Arts Support ‘Damguseok Munhwa Baedal’ ▲Senior Culture and Arts Education ‘Cheongchun Returns’ ▲Living Culture Planning Project ‘Woldam’ ▲Regional Culture and Arts Education ‘Damyang Daenamu Ajite’?a total of five projects.


This information session will provide guidance on the 2025 Damyang Cultural Foundation Living Culture and Arts Education Support Project, including major changes, support items, and application procedures. Pre-registration is available until 4 p.m. on the 17th via the application link on the Foundation’s website.


A Foundation representative said, “We hope this information session will enhance understanding of the support projects and provide an opportunity for citizens to participate in making culture and arts a part of daily life.”
